The government has issued a notification about recruitment in the post office. The total vacancies for offices are 33,480. Out of the total vacancies, there are 11025 vacancies for mail guards, 871 for drivers, 12141 vacancies for multitasking staff, 1231 for postmen, and 6174 for other posts.

The government has described the eligibility for each post. People who are under the eligibility criteria can fill in the application form when they are out. The applicants must keep their documents ready as the application forms can be released anytime.

Application Fees For Post Office Recruitment 2024

The government charges a nominal amount for the application form. But, the government does not charge any amount for the application form from some of the sections of society. The government charges Rs 100 for the unreserved section, the economically weaker section, and other backward classes. However, no fees are charged to the people belonging to scheduled tribes and scheduled castes.

One who will qualify for the exam for MTS (level 1) will get a salary between Rs 18000 to Rs 56,900. People in the post of mail guard (level 3) will get a salary between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

The salary for every post is different. It will include housing and rent allowance, and other allowances. Also, the government deducts the amount of provident funds, etc.
