Kashmir University Releases Date Sheets for Various Programs
Srinagar, May 2024: The University of Kashmir has released revised date sheets for multiple programs across different batches. The updates pertain to postgraduate and undergraduate programs, including M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, Music, and Fine Arts. The revisions accommodate regular students, eligible backlog candidates, and those seeking division improvement through distance and online education.
Key Updates:
1. M.A/M.Sc/M.Com 3rd Semester (Batch 2022):
The revised schedule is for the 3rd semester exams, including eligible backlog and division improvement candidates, under the Centre for Distance & Online Education. The exams are set for the June-July 2024 session.
2. Music & Fine Arts Final Year (Batch 2020 Regular & Batch 2019 Backlog):
The revised date sheet addresses both regular final year students of the 2020 batch and backlog candidates from the 2019 batch. The exams will commence shortly.
3. M.A/M.Sc/M.Com 4th Semester (Batch 2022):
This schedule covers the 4th semester students, including those with backlogs and division improvement needs, under the Distance Education Centre. Exams are planned for November 2024.
4. M.A Fresh Private 3rd/4th Semester (Batch 2022):
The new schedule caters to fresh private candidates from the 2022 batch, as well as backlog candidates from the 2021 batch. The session spans from August to October 2024.
5. M.A Private 1st & 2nd Semester (Batch 2023):
This date sheet is for the 1st and 2nd semester private candidates from the 2023 batch. The university will conduct these exams soon.
6. M.A/M.Sc/M.Com 4th Semester (Distance & Online Education):
The revised schedule pertains to the 4th semester exams for students enrolled in the distance and online education programs.
7. M.A/M.Sc/M.Com (Pvt. Distance Mode) Mercy Chance (Batches 2007-2018):
The university has also provided a mercy chance for candidates from batches 2007-2018. This session runs from July to October 2024, offering a final opportunity to clear their pending subjects.
8. M.A/M.Sc/M.Com 2nd Semester Fresh (Batch 2023):
The updated schedule includes exams for 2nd semester students from the 2023 batch, as well as those with backlogs and candidates seeking division improvement via distance and online education.
9. Music & Fine Arts Final Year (Batch 2020 Regular & Batch 2019 Backlog):
This separate schedule is specifically for the Music & Fine Arts final year students, addressing both regular and backlog candidates.
