In a recent development, the education authorities have issued a notification regarding the de-notification of certain schools/institutions from the list of Hard Zone Areas. This decision, made in partial modification to the previous Notification No: F (Acad-B)/U.C/22 dated: 22-09-2022, comes as part of the adoption of the Uniform Academic Calendar.
The schools/institutions listed below are hereby excluded/de-notified from the Annexure “A” of the aforementioned notification, which originally depicted the Schools of Hard Zone Areas:
As a result of this exclusion, the Annual Regular Examinations for the classes conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) for these schools/institutions shall now be conducted within the Soft Zone Areas. This adjustment will be effective starting from the academic session 2024-25.
This decision aims to streamline the examination process and ensure equitable opportunities for students across different zones. It reflects a commitment to providing a conducive academic environment while adapting to the evolving educational landscape.
By facilitating examinations in Soft Zone Areas, the authorities seek to alleviate logistical challenges and promote educational parity among all students. This proactive measure underscores the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and accessibility of education in the region.
As the academic community adjusts to these changes, it is imperative for all stakeholders to remain informed and cooperative, fostering a smooth transition for students and educators alike. This collaborative approach will contribute to the overall advancement of the education sector in the region.
In conclusion, the de-notification of schools from Hard Zone Areas and the subsequent conduct of Annual Regular Examinations in Soft Zone Areas signify a strategic step towards ensuring a fair and efficient educational system, ultimately benefiting the student community and facilitating their academic growth and success.
